Artistic Sponsorships · One-, three-, or five-year terms

Put your name on a chair.

A program unique to the Cape Ann Symphony — direct your giving to a specific position in the orchestra. Sponsors see and hear the results of their gift, season after season. It's also a wonderful way to honor someone who participated in or contributed to the arts.

How it works

Three steps from gift to sponsored chair.

Designed to forge a deep, ongoing connection between donors and the musicians they support.

  1. 01

    Choose a position

From the music director to a specific section musician — flute, oboe, violin, cello — any chair in the orchestra is available to sponsor.

  2. 02

    Pick your term

One year, three years, or five. Multi-year sponsorships enjoy a discount, with flexible payment arrangements available across the term.

  3. 03

Your name (or the name of the person you're honoring) appears in the program book all season — and in the lobby on concert nights.

A way to honor someone

Sponsorships are a wonderful way to honor someone who loved music.

Many of our sponsorships honor a parent, a spouse, a teacher — someone who participated in the arts, played in an orchestra, or simply loved listening. The sponsored player carries that name in the program book all year, and at every concert.

If you're considering a sponsorship in someone's memory, we can help you choose a chair that fits — a flute for a flutist, a horn for a horn player, the principal violin for a music teacher.

Reach out and we'll talk it through together.
